Over and over in my exam room, I heard the same words: “I thought it was just me.” Women would sit across from me, blaming themselves for brain fog, night sweats, weight changes, or low libido. They worried they were weak, broken, or somehow failing. And almost always, they admitted they had not told anyone else, because they thought they were alone.

As a board-certified OB-GYN and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, I have made it my mission to cut through the confusion and replace shame with knowledge. That is why I created Selfority, a place where women get evidence-based answers with compassion, clarity, and even humor. The truth is, the more you understand your body, the more power you have to protect it.

Why I Built Selfority: Because Women Deserve Better

I am Dr. Sarah Berg, a board-certified OB-GYN and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. For over a decade, I have had the privilege of caring for women through every stage of life, but time and again, I saw the same painful theme: women felt blindsided, isolated, and often blamed themselves for symptoms that were never their fault.

 

I founded Selfority to change that. My passion has always been teaching — making complex science understandable and empowering women to take ownership of their health. I believe women deserve more than rushed office visits and confusing online advice. They deserve clear, evidence-based guidance delivered with compassion, humor, and a deep respect for their lived experiences.

 

Selfority is the culmination of my years in medicine, specialized training in menopause health, and my personal belief that knowledge is power. My mission is simple: to give women the tools, confidence, and clarity to thrive in the stage of life they are in and beyond.
